Since 2011, GODSKILL has proven again and again on numerous stages in Europe that the band can develop a special fascination with fans, especially live.
With their third album “III – Nazarene Sickness” the musical direction has once again changed significantly towards black metal. Up to the second Album, the Band has been into Death Metal with a strong black metal flavour, but with the album „III – Nazarene Sickness“ they consistently continuing down the path into Black Metal, although the connection to their predecessor offerings can still be heard in one place or another.
In spring 2024 the band had to cope with a line up change on the vocals, but that turned out to be a stroke of luck when writing songs for the upcoming EP that will released on October 17th, 2025.

Wenn man in den metal-archives nach der Band GODSKILL sucht, erfährt man sehr schnell, dass sie
für Death-Metal bzw. Deathcore aus Süddeutschland steht. Das ist aus einem Grund sehr irreführend,
denn wenn man die Band live auf der Bühne erlebt, findet man sich in einer dunklen, schwarzen und
blutigen Messe wieder, die die Leute in ihren Bann zieht.
Dass die Band besonders Live bei den Fans eine besondere Faszination entfalten kann, hat
GODSKILL seit 2011 immer wieder auf zahlreichen Bühnen in Europa unter Beweis gestellt.
Die musikalische Ausrichtung hat sich mit dem dritten Album „III – Nazarene Sickness erneut sehr
stark in Richtung Black Metal verändert. War man bisher im schwarzmetallisch angehauchten Death
Metal unterwegs, geht man mit dem Album „III – Nazarene Sickness“ den Weg in den Black Metal
konsequent weiter, wobei die Verbindung zu den alten Alben an der ein oder anderen Stelle noch zu
hören ist.
Im Frühjahr 2024 musste die Band einen Line Up Wechsel an den Vocals verkraften, doch das stellt
sich beim Songwriting für den Release der neuen EP am 17. Oktober 2025 als Glücksgriff dar. Die Ausgeburt ist
hier zu hören.
